But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.
I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as didn’t worship the beast nor his image, and didn’t receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. The rest of the dead didn’t live until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Finally, be all like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tender hearted, courteous,
seeing your pure behavior in fear.
