Adam lived one hundred thirty years, and became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.

Cain left Yahweh’s presence, and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden.
Cain said to Abel, his brother, “Let’s go into the field.” While they were in the field, Cain rose up against Abel, his brother, and killed him.
As time passed, Cain brought an offering to Yahweh from the fruit of the ground.
The man called his wife Eve because she would be the mother of all the living.
God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
For to us a child is born. To us a son is given; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
