There was evening and there was morning, a third day.

The earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep and God’s Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.

“Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals, and brings out a weapon for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

One who is slack in his work is brother to him who is a master of destruction.

An abundance of food is in poor people’s fields, but injustice sweeps it away.
