Mt Sinai

Moses wrote all Yahweh’s words, and rose up early in the morning, and built an altar under the mountain, and twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.

Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, came with his sons and his wife to Moses into the wilderness where he was encamped, at the Mountain of God.

Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to God’s mountain, to Horeb.

For this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to the Jerusalem that exists now, for she is in bondage with her children.

“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and Yahweh’s glory is risen on you.

He said to him, “I will not go; but I will depart to my own land, and to my relatives.”

The mountains quaked at the presence of Yahweh, even Sinai, at the presence of Yahweh, the God of Israel.

“Speak to the children of Israel, that they turn back and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, before Baal Zephon. You shall encamp opposite it by the sea.

The children of Israel traveled from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot who were men, besides children.

In the third month after the children of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, on that same day they came into the wilderness of Sinai.

but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.

For the law was given through Moses. Grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.

The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.
