Fire came out from before Yahweh, and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar. When all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

A fire devours before them, and behind them, a flame burns. The land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them, a desolate wilderness. Yes, and no one has escaped them.
Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction.

Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.
For when the flame went up toward the sky from off the altar, Yahweh’s angel ascended in the flame of the altar: and Manoah and his wife looked on; and they fell on their faces to the ground.
For his burning place has long been ready. Yes, for the king it is prepared. He has made its pyre deep and large with fire and much wood. Yahweh’s breath, like a stream of sulfur, kindles it.
