Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding.
If it seems evil to you to serve Yahweh, choose this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh.”
Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid, neither be dismayed: for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.”

This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.
for often your own heart knows that you yourself have likewise cursed others.
lest you give your honor to others, and your years to the cruel one;
He strikes them as wicked men in the open sight of others;
He breaks in pieces mighty men in ways past finding out, and sets others in their place.
then let my wife grind for another, and let others sleep with her.
They kept the feast of tents, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the ordinance, as the duty of every day required;
He appointed, according to the ordinance of David his father, the divisions of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their offices, to praise, and to minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required; the doorkeepers also by their divisions at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.
If the man doesn’t want to take his brother’s wife, then his brother’s wife shall go up to the gate to the elders, and say, “My husband’s brother refuses to raise up to his brother a name in Israel. He will not perform the duty of a husband’s brother to me.”
If brothers dwell together, and one of them dies, and has no son, the wife of the dead shall not be married outside to a stranger. Her husband’s brother shall go in to her, and take her as his wife, and perform the duty of a husband’s brother to her.
If he takes another wife to himself, he shall not diminish her food, her clothing, and her marital rights.
