Character Of God

he who is not loving did not know God, because God is love.

Jesus Christ yesterday and to-day the same, and to the ages;

the Lord is not slow in regard to the promise, as certain count slowness, but is long-suffering to us, not counselling any to be lost but all to pass on to reformation,

And this is the message that we have heard from Him, and announce to you, that God is light, and darkness in Him is not at all;

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard? The God of the age--Jehovah, Preparer of the ends of the earth, Is not wearied nor fatigued, There is no searching of His understanding.

every good giving, and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the lights, with whom is no variation, or shadow of turning;

for God did so love the world, that His Son--the only begotten--He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during.

For--a moment <FI>is<Fi> in His anger, Life <FI>is<Fi> in His good-will, At even remaineth weeping, and at morn singing.

God! perfect <FI>is<Fi> His way, The saying of Jehovah is tried, A shield <FI>is<Fi> He to all those trusting in Him.

And the fruit of the Spirit is: Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,

Jesus saith to him, `I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no one doth come unto the Father, if not through me;

God <FI>is<Fi> a Spirit, and those worshipping Him, in spirit and truth it doth behove to worship.'

Be not afraid, for with thee I <FI>am<Fi> , Look not around, for I <FI>am<Fi> thy God, I have strengthened thee, Yea, I have helped thee, yea, I upheld thee, With the right hand of My righteousness.

Be not led astray; evil communications corrupt good manners;
