A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

For with God nothing shall be impossible.

He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
