for then there will be great oppression, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be.
“At that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who stands for the children of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who shall be found written in the book.
I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.”
I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as didn’t worship the beast nor his image, and didn’t receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. He shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease; and on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate; and even to the full end, and that determined, shall wrath be poured out on the desolate.

and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.
This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
You shall tread down the wicked; for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I make,” says Yahweh of Armies.
Alas for the day! For the day of Yahweh is at hand, and it will come as destruction from the Almighty.

yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.
The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of Yahweh comes.
He carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-colored animal, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.

The dragon grew angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep God’s commandments and hold Jesus’ testimony.
