She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn.

They came into the house and saw the young child with Mary, his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Opening their treasures, they offered to him gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Therefore as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned.
But Mary kept all these sayings, pondering them in her heart.
“Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came out of the womb, I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
All these with one accord continued steadfastly in prayer and supplication, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.
The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
