To him therefore who knows to do good, and doesn’t do it, to him it is sin.

One who says, “I know him,” and doesn’t keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth isn’t in him.

Whoever remains in him doesn’t sin. Whoever sins hasn’t seen him, neither knows him.
