and ye <FI>are<Fi> a choice race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people acquired, that the excellences ye may shew forth of Him who out of darkness did call you to His wondrous light;

and did make us kings and priests to his God and Father, to him <FI>is<Fi> the glory and the power to the ages of the ages! Amen.

for one <FI>is<Fi> God, one also <FI>is<Fi> mediator of God and of men, the man Christ Jesus,

and ye yourselves, as living stones, are built up, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

and didst make us to our God kings and priests, and we shall reign upon the earth.'

For the lips of a priest preserve knowledge, And law they do seek from his mouth, For a messenger of Jehovah of Hosts he <FI>is<Fi> .

and thou, and thy sons with thee, do keep your priesthood, for everything of the altar, and within the vail, and ye have served; a service of gift I make your priesthood; and the stranger who is coming near is put to death.'

and are making perfume to Jehovah, burnt-offerings morning by morning, and evening by evening, and perfume of spices, and the arrangement of bread <FI>is<Fi> on the pure table, and the candlestick of gold, and its lamps, to burn evening by evening, for we are keeping the charge of Jehovah our God, and ye--ye have forsaken Him.

and ye--ye are to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation: these <FI>are<Fi> the words which thou dost speak unto the sons of Israel.'

Happy and holy <FI>is<Fi> he who is having part in the first rising again; over these the second death hath not authority, but they shall be priests of God and of the Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

For every chief priest--out of men taken--in behalf of men is set in things <FI>pertaining<Fi> to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins,

I call upon you, therefore, brethren, through the compassions of God, to present your bodies a sacrifice--living, sanctified, acceptable to God--your intelligent service;

Be confessing to one another the trespasses, and be praying for one another, that ye may be healed; very strong is a working supplication of a righteous man;

for every chief priest to offer both gifts and sacrifices is appointed, whence <FI>it is<Fi> necessary for this one to have also something that he may offer;

having been addressed by God a chief priest, according to the order of Melchisedek,
