Praise

through him, then, we may offer up a sacrifice of praise always to God, that is, the fruit of lips, giving thanks to His name;

Blessed <FI>is<Fi> the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to the abundance of His kindness did beget us again to a living hope, through the rising again of Jesus Christ out of the dead,

Doth any one suffer evil among you? let him pray; is any of good cheer? let him sing psalms;

to the only wise God our Saviour, <FI>is<Fi> glory and greatness, power and authority, both now and to all the ages! Amen.

and ye <FI>are<Fi> a choice race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people acquired, that the excellences ye may shew forth of Him who out of darkness did call you to His wondrous light;

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing each other, in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, in grace singing in your hearts to the Lord;

and to God--thanks, to Him who is giving us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ;

and to God, even our Father, <FI>is<Fi> the glory--to the ages of the ages. Amen.

And at midnight Paul and Silas praying, were singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were hearing them,
