if we may confess our sins, stedfast He is and righteous that He may forgive us the sins, and may cleanse us from every unrighteousness;
`And thou hast known that Jehovah thy God He <FI>is<Fi> God, the faithful God, keeping the covenant, and the kindness, to those loving Him, and to those keeping His commands--to a thousand generations,
may we hold fast the unwavering profession of the hope, (for faithful <FI>is<Fi> He who did promise),
if we are not stedfast, he remaineth stedfast; to deny himself he is not able.
O Jehovah, my God <FI>art<Fi> Thou, I exalt Thee, I confess Thy name, For Thou hast done a wonderful thing, Counsels of old, stedfastness, O stedfast One.
For upright <FI>is<Fi> the word of Jehovah, And all His work <FI>is<Fi> in faithfulness.
God <FI>is<Fi> not a man--and lieth, And a son of man--and repenteth! Hath He said--and doth He not do <FI>it<Fi> ? And spoken--and doth He not confirm it?
and Jehovah passeth over before his face, and calleth: `Jehovah, Jehovah God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in kindness and truth,
so that also those suffering according to the will of god, as to a stedfast Creator, let them commit their own souls in good doing.
faithful <FI>is<Fi> God, through whom ye were called to the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
stedfast is He who is calling you, who also will do <FI>it<Fi> .
be strong and courageous, fear not, nor be terrified because of them, for Jehovah thy God <FI>is<Fi> He who is going with thee; He doth not fail thee nor forsake thee.'
No temptation hath taken you--except human; and God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above what ye are able, but He will make, with the temptation, also the outlet, for your being able to bear <FI>it<Fi> .
With His pinion He covereth thee over, And under His wings thou dost trust, A shield and buckler <FI>is<Fi> His truth.
these things I have spoken to you, that in me ye may have peace, in the world ye shall have tribulation, but take courage--I have overcome the world.'
