Fear of Jehovah <FI>is<Fi> a beginning of knowledge, Wisdom and instruction fools have despised!

The fear of Jehovah <FI>is<Fi> to hate evil; Pride, and arrogance, and an evil way, And a froward mouth, I have hated.

And He saith to man: --`Lo, fear of the Lord, that <FI>is<Fi> wisdom, And to turn from evil <FI>is<Fi> understanding.'

`And be not afraid of those killing the body, and are not able to kill the soul, but fear rather Him who is able both soul and body to destroy in gehenna.

The beginning of wisdom <FI>is<Fi> fear of Jehovah, Good understanding have all doing them, His praise <FI>is<Fi> standing for ever!

Be not afraid, for with thee I <FI>am<Fi> , Look not around, for I <FI>am<Fi> thy God, I have strengthened thee, Yea, I have helped thee, yea, I upheld thee, With the right hand of My righteousness.

The end of the whole matter let us hear: --`Fear God, and keep His commands, for this <FI>is<Fi> the whole of man.

Afraid of Jehovah are all the earth, Of Him are all the inhabitants of the world afraid.

And His kindness <FI>is<Fi> to generations of generations, To those fearing Him,

The fear of Jehovah <FI>is<Fi> a fountain of life, To turn aside from snares of death.

`And now, Israel, what is Jehovah thy God asking from thee, except to fear Jehovah thy God, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,

The fear of Jehovah <FI>is<Fi> to life, And satisfied he remaineth--he is not charged with evil.

fear is not in the love, but the perfect love doth cast out the fear, because the fear hath punishment, and he who is fearing hath not been made perfect in the love;

The secret of Jehovah <FI>is<Fi> for those fearing Him, And His covenant--to cause them to know.

Fear Jehovah, ye His holy ones, For there is no lack to those fearing Him.

Show me, O Jehovah, Thy way, I walk in Thy truth, My heart doth rejoice to fear Thy name.

In the fear of Jehovah <FI>is<Fi> strong confidence, And to His sons there is a refuge.

Be not wise in thine own eyes, Fear Jehovah, and turn aside from evil.

The commencement of wisdom <FI>is<Fi> the fear of Jehovah, And a knowledge of the Holy Ones <FI>is<Fi> understanding.

The fear of Jehovah <FI>is<Fi> clean, standing to the age, The judgments of Jehovah <FI>are<Fi> true, They have been righteous--together.

Jehovah <FI>is<Fi> for me, I do not fear what man doth to me.
