Being Different

Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

Having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, if prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith;

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.

that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world,

But Yahweh said to Samuel, “Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature; because I have rejected him: for I see not as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.”

For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

There are, it may be, so many kinds of sounds in the world, and none of them is without meaning.
