Run

have ye not known that those running in a race--all indeed run, but one doth receive the prize? so run ye, that ye may obtain; — read the full passage →

Therefore, we also having so great a cloud of witnesses set around us, every weight having put off, and the closely besetting sin, through endurance may we run the contest that is set before us,

But those expecting Jehovah pass <FI>to<Fi> power, They raise up the pinion as eagles, They run and are not fatigued, They go on and do not faint!

the good strife I have striven, the course I have finished, the faith I have kept,

And he, as a bridegroom, goeth out from his covering, He rejoiceth as a mighty one To run the path.

For--with footmen thou hast run, And they weary thee, And how dost thou fret thyself with horses! Even in the land of peace, <FI>In which<Fi> thou art confident--And how dost thou in the rising of Jordan!

I take the wings of morning, I dwell in the uttermost part of the sea,

And Jonah riseth to flee to Tarshish from the face of Jehovah, and goeth down <FI>to<Fi> Joppa, and findeth a ship going <FI>to<Fi> Tarshish, and he giveth its fare, and goeth down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the face of Jehovah.

For by Thee I run--a troop! And by my God I leap a wall.

flee the whoredom; every sin--whatever a man may commit--is without the body, and he who is committing whoredom, against his own body doth sin.
