and God doth commend His own love to us, that, in our being still sinners, Christ did die for us;
for God did so love the world, that His Son--the only begotten--He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during.
Jesus saith to him, `I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no one doth come unto the Father, if not through me;
lo, I have stood at the door, and I knock; if any one may hear my voice, and may open the door, I will come in unto him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
