Prudence

A prudent man seeth the evil, and hideth himself; Butthe simple pass on, and suffer for it.

I wisdom have made prudence my dwelling, And find out knowledgeanddiscretion.

Every prudent man worketh with knowledge; But a fool flaunteth his folly.

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore of sound mind, and be sober unto prayer:

The simple believeth every word; But the prudent man looketh well to his going.

A fool despiseth his father’s correction; But he that regardeth reproof getteth prudence.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.
