And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

For freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.

For God gave us not a spirit of fearfulness; but of power and love and discipline.

Take heed lest there shall be any one that maketh spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ:

Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new.

Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. — read the full passage →
