`Thou hast no other Gods before Me.

in your transgressing the covenant of Jehovah your God which He commanded you, and ye have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them, then hath the anger of Jehovah burned against you, and ye have perished hastily from off the good land which He hath given to you.'

for ye do not bow yourselves to another god--for Jehovah, whose name <FI>is<Fi> Zealous, is a zealous God.

Who <FI>is<Fi> like Thee among the gods, O Jehovah? Who <FI>is<Fi> like Thee--honourable in holiness--Fearful in praises--doing wonders?

`None is able to serve two lords, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold to the one, and despise the other; ye are not able to serve God and Mammon.

ye do not go after other gods, of the gods of the peoples who <FI>are<Fi> round about you;

and in all that which I have said unto you ye do take heed; and the name of other gods ye do not mention; it is not heard on thy mouth.

For who <FI>is<Fi> God besides Jehovah? And who <FI>is<Fi> a rock save our God?

so as not to go in among these nations, these who are left with you; and of the name of their gods ye do not make mention, nor do ye swear, nor do ye serve them, nor do ye bow yourselves to them;

Thus said Jehovah, king of Israel, And his Redeemer, Jehovah of Hosts: `I <FI>am<Fi> the first, and I the last, And besides Me there is no God.

And ye do not go after other gods to serve them, and to bow yourselves to them, nor do ye provoke Me to anger with the work of your hands, and I do no evil to you;

Ye <FI>are<Fi> My witnesses, an affirmation of Jehovah, And My servant whom I have chosen, So that ye know and give credence to Me, And understand that I <FI>am<Fi> He, Before Me there was no God formed, And after Me there is none.

Therefore Thou hast been great, Jehovah God, for there is none like Thee, and there is no God save Thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

See ye, now, that I--I <FI>am<Fi> He, And there is no god with Me: I put to death, and I keep alive; I have smitten, and I heal; And there is not from My hand a deliverer,

for Jehovah your God--He <FI>is<Fi> God of the gods, and Lord of the lords; God, the great, the mighty, and the fearful; who accepteth not persons, nor taketh a bribe;

for Jehovah thy God is a fire consuming--a zealous God.

and to the King of the ages, the incorruptible, invisible, only wise God, <FI>is<Fi> honour and glory--to the ages of the ages! Amen.

Concerning the eating then of the things sacrificed to idols, we have known that an idol <FI>is<Fi> nothing in the world, and that there is no other God except one;

And I <FI>am<Fi> Jehovah thy God from the land of Egypt, And a God besides Me thou dost not know, And a Saviour--there is none save Me.

Thou, thou hast been shewn <FI>it<Fi> , to know that Jehovah He <FI>is<Fi> God; there is none else besides Him.

how are ye able--ye--to believe, glory from one another receiving, and the glory that <FI>is<Fi> from God alone ye seek not?

And I send unto you all My servants the prophets, rising early and sending, saying: Turn back, I pray you, each from his evil way, and amend your doings, yea, ye do not walk after other gods, to serve them, and dwell ye on the ground that I have given to you and to your fathers; and ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto Me.

I <FI>am<Fi> Jehovah, and there is none else, Except Me there is no God, I gird thee, and thou hast not known Me.

Fear not, nor be afraid, Have I not from that time caused thee to hear, and declared? And ye <FI>are<Fi> My witnesses, Is there a God besides Me? yea, there is none, A Rock I have not known.

And now, Jehovah our God, save us from his hand, and all kingdoms of the earth do know that Thou <FI>art<Fi> Jehovah, Thyself alone.'

Thou <FI>art<Fi> He, O Jehovah, Thyself--Thou hast made the heavens, the heavens of the heavens, and all their host, the earth and all that <FI>are<Fi> on it, the seas and all that <FI>are<Fi> in them, and Thou art keeping all of them alive, and the host of the heavens to Thee are bowing themselves.

Seek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek His face continually.

They sacrifice to demons--no god! Gods they have not known--New ones--from the vicinity they came; Not feared them have your fathers!

Give ye thanks to the God of the heavens, For to the age <FI>is<Fi> His kindness!
