Flower

Withered hath grass, faded the flower, But a word of our God riseth for ever.

A voice is saying, `Call,' And he said, `What do I call?' All flesh <FI>is<Fi> grass, and all its goodliness <FI>is<Fi> As a flower of the field:

Withered hath grass, faded the flower, For the Spirit of Jehovah blew upon it, Surely the people <FI>is<Fi> grass;

For, lo, the day hath come, burning as a furnace, And all the proud, and every wicked doer, have been stubble, And burnt them hath the day that came, Said Jehovah of Hosts, That there is not left to them root or branch,

<FI> Nun.<Fi> A lamp to my foot <FI>is<Fi> Thy word, And a light to my path.
