Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. — read the full passage →

A wise son heareth his father’s instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.

And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
