Conviction

Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. — read the full passage →

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:
