Comforting

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; — read the full passage →

Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

“Comfort, comfort my people,” says your God.

Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in Yahweh.

‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?’God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

In the way of righteousness is life; in its path there is no death.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, and he who formed you from the womb: “I am Yahweh, who makes all things; who alone stretches out the heavens; who spreads out the earth by myself;

and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
