Being Effective

be diligent to present thyself approved to God--a workman irreproachable, rightly dividing the word of the truth;

for these things being to you and abounding, do make <FI>you<Fi> neither inert nor unfruitful in regard to the acknowledging of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Let no one say, being tempted--`From God I am tempted,' for God is not tempted of evil, and Himself doth tempt no one,

Be confessing to one another the trespasses, and be praying for one another, that ye may be healed; very strong is a working supplication of a righteous man;

every Writing <FI>is<Fi> God-breathed, and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for setting aright, for instruction that <FI>is<Fi> in righteousness,

and to fearful, and unstedfast, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the liars, their part <FI>is<Fi> in the lake that is burning with fire and brimstone, which is a second death.'

And a third messenger did follow them, saying in a great voice, `If any one the beast doth bow before, and his image, and doth receive a mark upon his forehead, or upon his hand,

for my yoke <FI>is<Fi> easy, and my burden is light.'

In faith died all these, not having received the promises, but from afar having seen them, and having been persuaded, and having saluted <FI>them<Fi> , and having confessed that strangers and sojourners they are upon the earth,
