“Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.”
Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his surpassing greatness. Reason for praise (mighty deeds, surpassing greatness) becomes object of praise. All of God's works and attributes warrant adoration; the psalter concludes by establishing that creation itself and God's deeds constitute inexhaustible subjects for praise.
