“The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.”
The tongue of the wise adorns knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes out folly. The wise person speaks knowledge skillfully (meytib da'at). The fool spills foolishness. Speech reveals the heart.
