“He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.”
Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those who speak rashly will come to ruin. Guarding the mouth preserves life. Rash speech leads to ruin. The tongue requires vigilance.
