“Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.”
So that the crowd marveled, when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled healthy, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel. The crowd's glorifying of the God of Israel — unusual phrasing that implies the crowd may include Gentiles who recognize the Jewish God's activity through Jesus — communicates the universal dimension of the healing ministry. The God of Israel is being revealed through the healings to a crowd that includes those outside Israel's covenant.

Having healed the d aug hter of this Chananaean, the Lord returns into Judaea, as it follows, 'And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee.'
This sea is called by various names; the sea at Galilee, because of its neighbourhood to Galilee; the sea of Tiberias, from the town of Tiberias.
It should be considered that sometimes the Lord goes about to heal the sick, sometimes He sits and waits for them to come; and accordingly here it is added, 'And there came great multitudes unto him, having with them those that were dumb, lame, blind, maimed, and many others.'
