“And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them:”
And great crowds came to him, bringing with them the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute, and many others, and they put them at his feet, and he healed them. The comprehensive healing catalog — lame, blind, crippled, mute — in the context of the Decapolis (the Gentile region east of the Jordan, based on Mark 7:31) communicates the universal scope of Jesus' healing ministry. The many others that complete the list cover the full range of human suffering that the healing crowd represents.

Having healed the d aug hter of this Chananaean, the Lord returns into Judaea, as it follows, 'And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee.'
This sea is called by various names; the sea at Galilee, because of its neighbourhood to Galilee; the sea of Tiberias, from the town of Tiberias.
It should be considered that sometimes the Lord goes about to heal the sick, sometimes He sits and waits for them to come; and accordingly here it is added, 'And there came great multitudes unto him, having with them those that were dumb, lame, blind, maimed, and many others.'
