“Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath;”
Or if he touches any crawling thing that makes him unclean, or any person who makes him unclean, whatever the uncleanness may be. The contact-impurity categories from Leviticus 11 and 15 are included in the priestly food regulations. Any contact-impurity that the preceding regulations established also creates a barrier between the impure priest and the sacred food.
