His breath is like an overflowing stream that reaches up to the neck, to sift the nations with a sieve of destruction; and there will be a bridle in the jaws of the peoples, leading them astray, establishing that God's judgment will sweep away the nations like a destructive flood, sifting and sorting them with the sieve of judgment, and rendering them powerless and redirected.
