Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching — Timothy's primary ministerial focus prior to Paul's return consists of three interrelated practices: anaginōskō (public reading) of Scripture, paraklēsis (exhortation), and didaskalia (teaching).
