“The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.”
The first man was of the earth, earthy; the second man is of heaven — Adam is choikoí (earthy, from earth); Christ is heavenly (ex ouranoú). Their origin determines their nature and destiny.
