John sees in heaven another great and marvelous sign: seven angels with seven plagues that are the last, because with them God's wrath is completed.
John sees what looks like a sea of glass glowing with fire, and standing beside the sea are those who've been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. They're holding harps given them by God and singing the song of the Lamb.
The song praises God's great and marvelous deeds, just and true are his ways, and all nations will come and worship him because his righteous acts have been revealed.
After this, the temple is opened in heaven, and the seven angels come out. They're dressed in clean, shining linen and wearing golden sashes. One of the four living creatures gives the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God.
The temple is filled with smoke from the glory of God and his power, and no one can enter the temple until the seven plagues are completed. The judgment is inevitable.
