John sees a great white throne and him who is seated on it. The earth and the heavens flee from his presence, and there's no place for them. John sees the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. Books are opened, and another book is opened, which is the book of life.
The dead are judged according to what they've done as recorded in the books. The sea gives up the dead that were in it, death and Hades give up the dead that were in them, and everyone is judged according to what they've done.
Then death and Hades are thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name isn't found written in the book of life is thrown into the lake of fire.
This is the final judgment. Not just the beast and Satan, but all those whose names aren't written in the book of life. It's individual and comprehensive. Everyone stands before the throne. Everyone is judged.
