Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish into baskets, but threw the bad away.
The kingdom gathers indiscriminately—good fish and bad fish. The sorting happens later. There's a season of gathering that doesn't judge. The separation comes only after everything is collected. That's radically inclusive during the gathering phase. It means the church, the kingdom community, will always include mixed membership. The judging isn't our job during the active gathering season.
