Paul breaks into doxology: 'Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!' This is the turn from theology to worship. After explaining God's plan, Paul can only stand in awe.
I'm a philosophy doctoral student, and at some point, every intellectual path bottoms out in mystery. You can't think your way to ultimate truth. You can only stand at the edge and acknowledge: I don't understand. Something vast is beyond my comprehension. That's not failure. That's honesty.
Paul spent eleven chapters explaining God's logic—law, grace, faith, predestination, rejection, restoration. Then he acknowledges: it's all too vast. I can trace part of it, but the whole thing exceeds my understanding. That's beautiful. It means God is genuinely infinite, not just infinitely bigger but within my range to understand. There's always mystery. Always awe. Always something to worship.
