Some Born as Eunuchs

For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others, and there are those who choose to remain unmarried for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Jesus acknowledges different sexual orientations or gender presentations and legitimizes different life paths.

There's a category of people—eunuchs—who don't fit the standard binary. Some born that way, some made that way, some by choice. All are named and honored. Jesus isn't prescribing celibacy for everyone. He's saying there are legitimate ways of living outside the nuclear family.
