You do not want to leave too, do you?' Jesus asked the Twelve. Simon Peter answered, 'Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life. We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.'
Peter's loyalty isn't based on everything making sense. It's based on the recognition that here is life. Where else would you go? This is the turning point where many disciples leave. Peter chooses to stay despite not understanding.
