Jesus acknowledges Philadelphia's little strength, but they've kept his word and haven't denied his name. He's opened a door for them that no one can shut. Despite their weakness, they have access.
Jesus will make those who oppose them acknowledge that he loves them. The enemies will see. Not through violence or triumph, but through the evident blessing of God on the faithful. Love will be vindicated.
Jesus will keep them from the hour of trial coming on the whole world. The promise isn't escape, but protection through. Like a seal, like protection during judgment. Your faith is your shelter.
