Jesus answered, 'My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent me. Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I am speaking on my own.'
Jesus claims his teaching isn't original. It comes from God. Then he gives a test: if you actually do God's will, you'll know whether this is true. The test of truth isn't intellectual agreement but lived obedience. When you practice it, you'll know.
