Many Are Called but Few Chosen

So the last will be first, and the first will be last. For many are called, but few are chosen. Matthew's word on election and priority.

I used to read this as: few will be saved. But in context it's about the workers—all were hired (called), but they'll be compensated by a different logic than expected. The calling is wide. The actual participation inverts hierarchies. Being chosen isn't about being special. It's about alignment with how God actually operates.
