I grew up watching my grandfather farm in Nigeria. He'd plant during drought, tend carefully, and often the crops would surprise him with their abundance. This verse is his story.

There's something about faith that includes working - planting in famine, tending despite uncertainty. Isaac doesn't wait for abundance before planting. He plants into scarcity.
