Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.' Jesus's ultimate desire is presence—that his people be with him.
Not that they obey from a distance. Not that they serve his work in the world only. That they are with him, seeing his glory. Relationship is the goal.
