Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. John the Baptist isn't satisfied with confession or tears or emotional change. He wants to see actual transformation in how people live. Fruit. Evidence. Change that's visible in the world.
My tradition emphasizes internal transformation—fixing your heart, changing your thoughts, right beliefs. But John is saying that's incomplete without fruit. What are you actually doing differently? How has your repentance changed your relationships, your finances, your treatment of those vulnerable? I've seen people claim spiritual transformation while their lives stay destructive. John would call that out. Fruit matters. Results matter. Not works-righteousness, but genuine alignment between what you claim to believe and how you actually live.
