Jude was going to write about salvation, but something urgent came up. Certain people have crept in unnoticed. They're ungodly, perverting grace into a license for immorality, and denying Jesus Christ as master.
Jude's not angry about doctrine. He's angry about people using grace as cover for licentiousness. They're saying 'God's grace covers anything, so live however you want.' But that's not grace. That's antinomianism. It's saying law doesn't matter because grace is infinite.
Jude calls believers to contend for the faith. Not aggressively attack people, but defend the actual substance of the gospel against distortion. The gospel is good news about transformation, not permission for destruction.
