Then they shall confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their ancestors, in that they committed treachery against me and, moreover, that they continued hostile to me... If then their uncircumcised heart is humbled and they make amends for their iniquity, then I will remember my covenant.
Even after devastating judgment, restoration is possible. Not automatic - it requires confession, acknowledgment of failure, concrete change. But God remembers the covenant.
This is the hope embedded in the curses: you can't break God's commitment to you. Even when you've violated everything, even when the consequences are overwhelming, confession opens the door back. That's what I needed to know about grace - it's not pretending you didn't break anything, it's the willingness to acknowledge it and be restored.
