A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. Jesus's measure for love isn't abstract. It's his own example.
You love the way I've loved you. That's concrete. He's washed your feet. Challenged you. Been patient with you. Journeyed with you. That's the love standard. Not romantic love. Not sentimental love. But committed, humble, willing-to-go-low love.
